Our Mission
The Immaculate Conception Preparatory School was
originally established by the Franciscan Sisters from
Glasgow, Scotland, at Duke Street in Kingston in
1859 as the Junior Department of the Immaculate
Conception Academy. When it moved to its present
location at Constant Spring in 1942, it acquired its
own identity, focusing on the education of young
students from four to twelve years of age.
Motivated by the teachings of the Gospel and
inspired by the example of St. Francis of Assisi,
the school community works together as a family in
close association with the parents for the total
development of each child.
